Swift TV targets global hotel and aged care growth with new connected TV platform.
Managing director Brian Mangano outlines how Swift TV’s new connected TV solution aims to turn any screen into a smart, business‑ready device, targeting community-style environments such as mine sites, aged care, retirement living and hotels. The compact plug‑and‑play unit is presented as enabling integration with property management and point‑of‑sale systems, allowing services like room‑service ordering directly from the TV. Mangano highlights tailored user interfaces for mining, aged care and hotels to improve resident and guest experience.
Swift TV’s first hospitality agreement is with Daydream Island Resort in the Whitsundays. It is positioned as a flagship case study in the premium resort market and the company’s entry into the global hotel sector. Mangano points to existing deployments with Chevron and Opal HealthCare in Australia, arguing this demonstrates diversification beyond the original mining focus. Integration with Netflix and Google is described as a key differentiator, allowing guests to log directly into their apps without cumbersome casting or Wi‑Fi steps, with credentials reset automatically on checkout.
On financials, Mangano states that Swift TV generates about $13 million a year in recurring revenue from legacy products. Around 5,000 units of the new product are sold, roughly 3,000 installed, and another 5,000 ordered, with $1.8 million cash at 31 March, which Mangano views as supporting the next phase of growth.
